I totally forgot to post about this earlier!
I spoke with Stone on the air via a Florida radio station on October 7th and during the course of my call I made sure to praise him for Bayleaf and aske if he was planning on releasing any more solo stuff. He said YES and that in fact he was working on stuff right now! RAWK!! You heard it here first, kids ;)

Stone Gossard will be playing a solo set at The Sunset Tavern in Seattle on August 6th 2004. Also on the bill are Austin transplant guitarist-songwriter Ian Moore, Mudhoney's Steve Turner and former Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel.

Just an FYI that the site will be on hiatus from February 9 to February 18. The webmistress is going on a much needed VACATION. Please feel free to email her with any Stoney tidbits of info while she's gone, so she can make a massive update to the site when she returns!!
Rumor has it that Eddie (Vedder - you know, the singer for PEARL JAM?!) anyways, rumor has it he played a new song at his appearance at a friend's birthday party on January 26. It's being called "Satellite". Let's hope this is indeed a new PJ song and that they head into the studio this month (as promised) and supply us with a new album soon!
Also, is anyone else wondering when the new Brad album is coming out?! Anybody got some inside info...? Hook us up, yo! :)

Check out the restless soul page! Yes, it took us 2.5 weeks to get it finished, but it's worth it ;) If you recall, restless soul won our first contest (the Stoney Look-Alike contest). His prize was his own page on the site! Congrats Pablo aka restless soul!

Hey Stoney Ponies! Sorry it's been so long since the site's been updated ;) We have added a few things worth checking out since a week ago:
All non-photo Ten Club Newsletter scans have been moved from the miscellaneous images section to the miscellaneous articles section. This includes notes from the man himself and Stoney-related writings. I've also added new scans from newsletters 12 through 15.

Fan Club Newsletter" and email the image to contests@stoneygfanclub.com - the deadline is December 1, 2001. That following Monday (the 3rd) we'll post the choices and you members will be able to vote on the logo. The winner will get his or her logo used in the newsletter (with full credit, of course)! So start designing today! You can use ANYTHING Stoney-related in the logo - cowboy hats, Stoney's face...what-EVAH you want! :)

Welp, it's Stoney's 35th birthday! What better day than to launch the unofficial Stoney G. Fan Club website? (Pssst - the answer is "There's no better day than Stoney's birthday to launch the unofficial Stoney G. Fan Club website!!!")
Well, the newest news to hit the Stoney G. Fan Club news wire (aka the Synergy Message Board) is regarding Stoney's new album, reportedly titled Bayleaf, set for release on September 11. Mark your calenders! He sings on 7 of the 10 tracks, with former Green Apple Quick Step frontman Ty Willman singing the other three. He's also reportedly completed work on Brad's third album.
