ramblesReleaseMe528 - The Loss of a Great Pup Named StoneyWell about 2 months ago, I was a happy teenager, no complaints, but I didn't feel quite fulfilled. What I needed in my life, besides a boyfriend, was a puppy. So just to my luck a good friend of mine, Tiffany, was giving away puppies that her dog Britney had just had. Now, the fact that these were blue healer pups and she was giving them away for free, well I jumped at the oppurtunity. After begging my parental units, they agreed to allow me to take a puppy into my own custody. But alas, they said that it would be a while before I was able to bring it home because they were fixing up our spacious backyard and what not. So I would go to Tiffany's house almost everyday to play with the puppy that I had chosen. I chose a rambunctious little male dog and thoughtfully named him Stoney after Mr. Gossard himself. This little guy was so cute and wild as all puppies I'm sure are, but there was something different about him, he had a certain sparkle in his little puppy eyes that I didn't see in the others. I think his name gave him a certain sense of cool and funkiness. Well alas it was time for him to come home with me. So Thursday, August 8, I went to Tiffany's and returned with Stoney. He loved it here, he ran around the backyard, and wasn't even scared as we thought he might have been. He adapted quickly and was a happy pup. Then, just this morning, August 11, we find him missing. We search and search and he's nowhere to be found. Someone took him out of his cage, they had broken the lock. After looking through neighborhood after neighborhood, we stop and come to the awful conclusion, Stoney was kidnapped. I feel so numb and sad. I don't know if I will ever see my rad puppy again. I guess for now, only time will tell. |
