RUMOR KILLER - well, well, well (in response to another "who is RK?" thread)

Sorry, the two or three posts about that song in this thread suddenly got that song in my brain...

Wasn't there a thread asking this intriguing question a few weeks ago? I think it was called "Who is Rumor Killer?" Well, the ol'RK crafted some witty and clever response... what was it? hmmm.. I don't remember.

Anyway, people have guessed for years on who the ol'RK is, what the ol'RK is, why the ol'RK is here. And if I read you some of the PM's I've gotten about it, well it would be surprisingly few despite that this type of thread pops up every now and again...

But I will answer the million dollar question again... the ol'RK has been lingering about Synergy, well since its inception. Poking fun at the band members and even our beloved Kat and Sea (who don't even know the ol'RK true identity though they can always call on him by flashing the RUMOR SIGNAL!!)

But the ol'RK is no more important than any other member of this board. He reads the threads like you do, answers the ones he feels like answering. He posts some silly messages, some serious ones. The only real distinguishing feature besides the ol'RK's love of talking in the third person is he just happens to be one who occassionally likes to type with the CAPS LOCK button on.

So guess if you must on who the ol'RK is. The ol'RK has heard it all. (Ed, Stone, Mike's pet guinea pig, Tim Bierman aka <Rubysdad>, some roadie or member of the PJ crew, President William Howard Taft, Mr. Snuffaluffagus (sp?)...) But in the end, the ol'RK is here like you to talk about this great band that he is a proud and perhaps overly ethusiastic fan of. Does it really matter who I am? I could be the guy behind you at the grocery store, or the guy screaming at the band "PLAY FUCKING LEASH YOU BASTARDS!!" Or I could have grown up just up the street from you....

Have fun, be merry, listen to Vitalogy again, and let's just leave this issue as an "unsolved mystery"
