reviewsPearl Jam - Live in Boise, ID - November 3, 2000I thought I should contribute something to the site for the greatest
man alive so here is a review from Boise Nov. 3 2000. Last night in Boise was amazing, it was my first Pearl Jam concert and a I night I will never forget. Ten club is the best, 8th row on Mike's side, I had the perfect view of Eddie and Stone. When I went into the concert I thought about all the songs I wanted to here and I was hoping I wouldn't be let down by my high expectations. I was blown away the set was amazing, Animal got everyone counting, Do the Evolution got everyone jumping, everyone sang to the sad song to make you feel better Better Man, and everyone's lighters came out for Small town. Crazy Mary was awesome Eddie took the bottle and passed it around to some fans in the front Rocking in the Free World was so cool the house lights were on and everyone was singing along, pumping their arms right with Eddie. Eddie had some great comments. A lucky fan named Ben snuck on stage and got to shake Eddies hand and when Eddie asked where he came from and he said Utah, there was some boo's but of course I cheered! (I drove 5 hours from Utah for the show) Eddie's said that music is useful for many things, parties, sex and depression, then he and Jeff played Don't Be Shy by Cat Stevens which sounded really cool. Thanks Pearl Jam it was an amazing night! Holly Vaughn |
